BOTANICAL NONSENSE

This piece is (unfortunately) called “Botanical Nonsense”. I say that with humor and truth because it is a piece full of botanical influence on a page with no rhyme or reason and absolutely zero organization. However, I do believe that is what makes this work so interesting. This piece started off as a simple exercise that I gave myself of placing a bunch of different color blobs all over the canvas and to create something from those blobs. As someone who loves to draw inspiration from nature, I (of course) created flowers and leaves. If you look close enough at the work, you can see the little details in each blob and make your own decision on what flower or plant it resembles.
