SIGHTLINES

Created in Procreate, Sightlines centers around a giant eye surrounded by surreal and natural elements; trees, roots, power lines, butterflies, birds, sunflowers, a pirate ship, and a glowing sunset.

While working on it, I tried to place myself in the mind of a child, to tap into that sense of wonder, curiosity, and imagination. Each element was added with a kind of playful freedom, turning the piece into a dreamlike mix of thoughts, memories, and daydreams; like the world as seen through a child’s eyes.
