STIPPLE RENDER
I created this piece during an interior design course at a local community college. It’s done using a stippling technique; made up of hundreds of thousands of tiny dots. It was a time-consuming process (over 20 hours in total!), but I really enjoyed it and found it incredibly rewarding.
I started by tracing the basic outlines of a reference photo using a light box, then built up the shading and detail with Micron pens ranging from size 005 to 08. Stippling has become one of my favorite illustration styles because of the precision and patience it requires, and the unique texture it creates.
